2012 – 13 were annibus horribilis. Truly.
In the middle – after Budapest and before Boston – we go to Hawaii with Craig’s family.
We rent a VRBO large house just outside of Waikiki. Buy food from Costco and cook in. It is a great way to spend family time together.
We try a few local places like the Outback and Cheesecake Factory. Lots of bland food. Big servings. Short on flavour.
It rains for portions of every day. Windy. Cool. Not beach weather. We hike Diamond Head. Spend a day at the Polynesian Village. Drive around the island. Go to Waikiki. Hang around the pool at the house.
Decide that we prefer Mexico.
