Another Shuswap Big Chill. Everyone makes it except Jeanne, Jenn & Thomas. Don does an admirable job of representing the Ferris family. Sydney brings a friend. Not a boyfriend, she assures us. I’m not sure he got the same memo.
Curtis, Wendy and MacKenzie come for Saturday night. The sleeping arrangements get tight. We already have two tents and full bedrooms. Craig and I take the futons on the screened porch. It is blissfully quiet and cool out there.
Lots of food, wine, dock and lake time, laughs, a wine tour, some golfing. The usual lake activities.
A mother bear and her cubs try to crash the party, but we scare them away with our big chill antics.
